“My Beloved is mine and I am his...”
(Songs of Songs 2:16)
The Bridal Salon has been expanding and serving Israelis since 1990. The heart of the Bridal Salon is to provide Brides, Grooms, their families and friends from all over Israel, meeting the unique requirements for each special and celebrated occasion. Due to family or religious situations, some Israeli brides have two weddings - one overseas and one in Israel! Even one celebration is very costly. So the Bridal Salon is a real blessing for which our clients are truly grateful. When the clothing has been cleaned and returned, the deposit is refunded. This project serves to express the love of believers to people in Israel by blessing them on their special day.
Reflections On My Wedding Day
A wedding is first and foremost a ceremony that celebrates the connection between two loving people, two souls who have found a home. But not just. It is also an opportunity to be grateful not only for the wonderful love we share with each other, but also for all the precious people in our lives. Our wedding was a celebration of love: a romantic love of two individuals and the love of our family and friends…
…In our Hupa, after the ceremony of the ‘Kidushin’, when we were officially husband and wife, I told Dima that he is my puzzle. We complete each other. Just as we complete each other, our wedding completes our relationship: we celebrate our love and the love of our family and friends. However, our wedding wouldn’t be complete without your wonderful bridal salon… ”I am for my beloved and my beloved is for me.”This beautiful verse is written in golden Hebrew characters above the mirror in CFI Bridal Salon, where I found my perfect match: the perfect wedding gown, accompanied with compelling veil and jewelry. It was love at first sight: this beautiful white classy gown was the first dress I have tried on. For a moment I felt like a movie star in Hollywood’s golden era. It is very rare that everything just falls into place, like a harmonious melody. I cannot thank you enough, all the wonderful people who contribute to the beautiful Bridal Salon. I had the wedding of my dream wearing the gown of my dreams. All the best, Talya

August 2020 Project Update - by Tiina Karkkainen
Shalom, dear friends and coworkers!
We have had interesting people coming to the Bridal Salon lately. I feel that the Lord is using us to encourage His people by this specific service.
Last week there was a tall Israeli lady looking for a wedding dress in our salon. She was unsure, when their wedding would be because of the corona situation. She tried on different options. The last one was the best. Many times you just feel, that this is the one. So did our new friend, Alona. We found a beautiful veil too and a head piece for her. I put everything aside. Next day she called and told me that their hupa was going to take place the next day. She came in to pick up the dress and she was so thankful to us. We received some pictures from Alona right after the wedding. Thank God that we were there to provide her with a good looking wedding gown just in time. Many people confirmed that she looked stunning in it.
This week there was a couple from Haifa looking for wedding gowns in our Bridal Salon. They are students who decided to get married this special year, 2020. Sarah could not so quickly decide which dress to wear, so she took two dresses with her. Amos found a good suit for himself. I am happy that they didn’t need to spend more time or money to find their wedding clothes. We are a blessing for many people.
I myself got married at the end of June. I found everything that I needed at our place: The dress, the bolero, the shoes, the necklace and the veil – everything was from here. Thank you so much for this opportunity J. Also my husband used our services and found his suit at CFI Bridal Salon, as I wrote to you some months ago. We are now a happy couple starting our journey in Jerusalem. What a joy it is to have beautiful wedding pictures as a memory of our special day.
God bless you all. He is Faithful.
